My Charge 3 went low on battery today, 14%. The red light on the back for the blood oxygen sensor (THAT WE DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO, OR DATA FROM!!) will not shut off. The device's battery level quickly drained to 6 then 4% before I plugged it in to charge. The red light never went out. I have charged it back up and put it back on my wrist but the light still is illuminated and will not shut off. It is different then the flicker I notice at times when I wake from sleeping. I have tried to reset it as well as clearing all the data and reseting it. Nothing seems to work.

I now only have a horizontal line across my screen. The red light is still illuminated on the back. The device is now completely unresponsive and will not connect to my phone.

I'm having this same issue. Tried doing a restart and nothing seems to help thus far.

Mine ended up dying overnight from the light constantly on. I messaged with Fitbit customer service, sent in a video of my Fitbit with the light on. The opened a support case and ended up sending me a new unit. My original one returned to “normal” after the battery died for a second time. Unfortunately it wouldn’t connect with my phone properly any more. I noticed at several occasions moisture condensation inside on the lights on the back. I think the seal was bad and water intrusion caused all my issues. My new unit has performed flawlessly since I got it.
