Removing Charge 3 from iPhone

Hi,

I installed my son’s new Fitbit to my iPhone, not realizing that when I received phone calls they would go to his Fitbit.

I have tried to remove the Fitbit tracker from my phone by going into the installed Fitbit app, but phone calls are still going through to his Fitbit.

When I google help, it says to go into account, and select the device I wish to remove, but no devices are being displayed to choose from. My app account screen looks different to that on the help tutorials.

Can you please help? I would really like to remove the tracker from my phone and reinstall on my sons iPad.

thankyou

Welcome to the forums!

Sounds like you did not remove it from Bluetooth on your phone. Try that and let us know/ Make sure to sync once removed

Hi there @lbwales, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided and for taking the time to do some research prior to posting here. Nice way to go!

As my friend @WendyB, you only removed the Charge 3 from the Fitbit account, but seems that it's still linked to your phone's Bluetooth settings.

In order to remove the Charge 3 from your iPhone and add it to your son's iPad:

1. Remove the Charge 3 from the Bluetooth settings.
2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
3. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app on your son's iPad.
4. Setup the Charge 3.
