Replacement Charge 2, only the pebble not the entire tracker

The screen of my charge 2 cracked and when I got the replacement they only sent the pebble, not the entire charge 2. In the past when I had gotten replacements from Fitbit this was never the case. I just think it's a little shotty customer service.

Ive had my Versa for almost a year now and it worked wonderfully... up until I went into the water with it!  Then it wouldn't hold a charge more than 3 hours! After being thrown in circles and having to perform multiple tests for them that they knew the answer to, they finally agreed to replace it.... with... this- RMA/ REPLACEMENT Versa non-NFC..  I have no idea what that means but they also agreed to only replace the watch face and not the wrist band which would've been nice because I have had to replace the band twice already!

I feel you

I just had an issue with my charger 3 and they offered to replace it right away and are sending me the tracker and not the whole band and all.  I think that is quite fair.  Why would they send new bands with it?  I think Fitbit service has been fantastic.

Yes they replace the pebble only. My Charge 2 was replaced 4 times before  refund was organised and I've replaced it with a Charge 3. Why problem did you encounter? Can I ask?

Not sure in this particular persons case, but in my case they SPECIFICALLY requested the charger and all of the pieces that broke.  My band melted completely off of my FITBIT in 115 temps while running.  So the pebble was fine.  And my charge 2 did not come with removable wrist bands, not sure if everyone elses did.  I'm waiting for my replacement but if it's just the pebble it will be going back.  this makes me very angry.

I have had my Charge 2 for three years and I've worn it everyday to work. I'm a autobody painter and average 21,000 steps a day. I've banged it bumped it and spilt chemicals on it. It has been extremely durable to say the least. Replaced the band 8 months ago (6 bucks amazon) Great watch!

All the Charge 2s have removable/replaceable bands. Just Google how to get them off and on. It's surprisingly simple once you see how to do it. The bands are inexpensive and I wouldn't even bother with Fitbit as they aren't covered by any warranty so they won't listen to you.
Good luck

That's really odd. All trackers have interchangeable straps. As it was your strap that was damaged I assume they'll replace the strap or the entire thing. No sense replacing the pebble.

I just got a new Fitbit inspire HR My last one was perfect no probs what do ever it still works perfect I had a handle door nob I guess you call it hot my fitbit caught on it a couple of times then finally a week ago it broke well I didn't realize that they were just sending me the pebble or I would have just let my son take care of it he bought me the first on and this on I am kinda disappoint that there just sending me the pebble instead of the whole tracker considering it was just bought seven days ago that don't seem fair at all now when I tell my son I hope he's not going to be mad bc I didn't talk to him first but I didn't want to aggravate him about it

I agree with you! I have only had my Fitbit for 4 months and it stopped syncing and charging, I hope they don't send me a pebble, I think that maybe a problem. I paid full price and extended warranty (on top of the 1 year warranty) to receive "new" not "second hand new". Fingers crossed for a "new" Fitbit... I guess I will see in 5-7 business days.
