I recieved my replacement Charge 2 and my LGv30 will not pair with it. My old charge 2 pairs just fine. My boyfriends phone sees the replacement charge 2 in Bluetooth ( unless its seeing my old charge 2? Not sure it can if it's paired to my phone.) updating my phone, rebooting ( many times in between troubleshooting) I have turned off/ Bluetooth , unpaired/deleted old charge, tried to replace old charge with new charge, uninstalled fitbit app, reinstalled app, tried hard restarting new charge but it just shows the setup screen fitbit.com/setup the only thing I haven't tried is logging out of fitbit then back in ( that I know of). I contacted support and they gave me a return label and recommended sending back for a second replacement. I don't really want to wait another 2 weeks . 😭 I don't see why the new one won't pair with my phone while the old one pairs just fine.

The first Charge 2 that I ordered for my wife was dead on arrival. Sent it back and got a replacement last week and, like yours, it fails to pair. Spent 30+ minutes on the phone with support and, in the end, got the same story as others have. Very lax quality control.

3 times for me same thing....still under warranty....I ask for 1/2 off on a charge 3 won't do it...any other one they would....told them I wait until they get it fixed... Fitting this for a month.....

Ricnvic, you're right. I just received a replacement with the newer firmware and I can't get it to pair with Android, windows 10, or my iPhone.

Just got my replacement today and it won’t pair with my iPhone 6s. Nothing I try let’s it be seen by Bluetooth. I’ve had to re-pair my cracked one in order to have one on my wrist.

If it’s the firmware then how can it be updated without a connection via an app?
My old one is 22.55.2
I can’t see the replacements firmware but I guess it’s older.

Call support and if they can help you...then post if they can....I need to update two of them that won't setup....

Neither firmware will pair. Support is of no use citing software issues with no release date.

The apps for all major platforms Apple, Android, and Windows fail for me.

My husband is sitting here with 2 non-syncing replacements. Same response from support, that they are "aware of the issue and are working on it"... Does anyone think they might be doing this on purpose to get people to buy the Charge 3??

They've sent me a replacement that is on firmware 22.53.04 as well and it doesn't work. This was suplosed to be for my mum. I gave her my Charge 2 to use while this gets resolved. If it gets resolved. I need to check the firmware version for the older one..

Pretty much. Not sure how long the wait is, they won't give a timeline. Has anyone noticed they're not selling the Charge 2 on the website anymore?

That's seriously poor. Luckily I have an apple watch to track my movement and excercise, but I like the sleep tracking and social element of Fitbit. Although if they don't resolve this soon, I might have to say goodbye to Fitbit!

I'm on my second defective setup replacement as well. At first, I thought they sent me the same unit back. Told me about the general problem today and to check the app for updates to see if the problem is fixed. Support won't even be sending out a status for my case number. No sue when they realized they had this problem but my second charge 2 was sent out Jan 8.

Same problem here. Just received a replacement for my cracked Charge 2 and can't get it to pair with the app. If they are trying to force people into buying a Charge 3 I'm done with Fitbit. My husband was able to buy a Charge 3 through his work at a great discount. The display was horrible. You can't change the order of how things display and the clock faces completely stink. I had him return it the next day. Honestly, I wouldn't take a Charge 3 if they gave me one for free.

you need to contact support. Not sure if they care but they need to know how many people are affected by this problem. At least my support person added my case to the "known problem".
