How can one's resting heart rate rise during the day as they are active? That completely violates the concept of "resting."
One begins to doubt the veracity of anything the Fitbit produces.

Heart rate device is not working, I think. It does not show Heart rate and heartrate light is not brink. It just highlight Resting.

Mine has done this too and my Fitbit charge 3 is only a month old. It'll start out at 65 bpm in the morning, then 12p.m it drops to 64 bpm and then in the evening goes back up to 65 bpm. Your resting heart rate should not be changing 2-3 or more times throughout the day because it is supposed to be based off of your average when sleeping. So I guess we have defective watches.

I know this is an older post, but mine does the same thing. Is 62bpm all morning and afternoon and I check it again at 5pm or so and it’s risen a BPM. Not that big of a deal - just bizarre.

Same observations. On my Android app the RHR keeps changing all through the day - by up to 2/min. It is consistently 5-6 higher than when I was still using my Versa. I get hours of exercise every day, my BMI is ~23, and a BP device shows my RHR is always below 60. The Fitbit algorithm has said 62, 63, and 64 during just today. The algorithm needs help.
