Was there a recent firmware update that messed up step counts or sensitivity on the tracker? I just registered 30,000 steps for sleeping and making breakfast, 200 for getting dressed, and about 50 for tying my shoes...I have not changed settings since I got the charge 4 and have not done anything differently than I have for the last 10 months. I logged the 30000 as driving, but then saw that the steps are still increasing at a ridiculous rate.

this has happened to me too - getting 5-6K steps in 15 mins while I'm asleep! Wouldn't care much if I could just delete them. Haven't found anything in the chats about solving the problem yet

I would push customer service, it took me six calls to resolve but they finally agreed to replace my Charge 4 with the same issue.

You can reset the wholeday via app & just add the difference in activity by just picking a time you were potentially walking. You'll just need to guess the time taken or the distance to get it semi-accurate.

It's happened twice on my charger 4 in the past couple of months.

Is it worth changing if its only happened twice in the past few months & you can sort of fix it?
