My Charge 2 stopped syncing properly with my Pixel 2 XL (Android 11) - only the step number will sync but nothing else. I remove and install the app, didn't work. I removed the tracker but not able to pair it back to the app. Spent an hour with Fitbit's tech support and all I got was a discount toward a new purchase.
So it looks like that many others are having the same problem, with different phone models. I think it has to to with the Android updates. Unfortunately I don't think Fitbit will spend much effort to fix this issue, the discount for new purchase being my supporting evidence.
Anyone tried a different brand? Love to hear from you. Thanks and stay well!

I was able to sync the tracker with an old phone (Nexus 5X running Android 8.1.0). Not sure how useful for others but at least I can see more data (sleep) from my tracker.
So clearly it has to do with the system upgrade and Fitbit not spending the effort to make it work. Why would they?
