Screen freezes after it wakes up.

My Charge 3 screen will turn on as far as to see the time, but it won't do anything other than that. I can't turn the screen off after it wakes up either. It seems like the screen's sensitivity has dropped and the button doesn't work except to wake it up.

Try this.  I have had to this 3 times since I bought my Charge3 and it has worked.

 

Having trouble with the following: 

 

  • Not syncing
  • Not responding to button presses, taps, or swipes
  • Charged but doesn't turn on
  • Not tracking your steps or other stats

A restart may help! Restarting Charge 3 reboots the device, but does not delete any data.To do this:

 

  • Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  • Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  • Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  • Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
