Screen wake not working on Charge 2

My fitbit charge 2 won't display the screen when I move my wrist, it has been working fine for over a year,

There is a setting called "Quick View", or "Screen Wake" on some models.  I expect you have accidentally gotten that turned off.

I'm not sure where exactly that setting is for the Charge 2.  On many models it is in the 'Settings' app on the Fitbit itself but I don't know if the Charge 2 has a Settings app.  If not, you can probably set it from the Fitbit.com dashboard (in web browser) from the gear icon near top right.  Sorry I can't tell you exact procedure but it is almost surely the Quick View/Screen Wake setting.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
