I also had problems with the wristband attachment that led to having to abandon my previous Charge 4. I bought a new Charge 4 and when I got to the part about entering the 4-digit code on the Charge screen it wouldn't accept the one I typed in (tried four times) even though it was entered correctly. Any advice out there? The suggestions on the app were to start stop Bluetooth (which I did) and re-start in the recharging mode (which I did) and the device is fully powered but when I get to the screen Searching for Charge 4 it still insists it cannot connect. Any ideas out there? I already disconnected the Blue Tooth connection for the old Charge 4 but that didn't help.

Hi there @Don_Nikkel. Welcome to Community Forums.
I appreciate you shared your experience and the troubleshooting steps performed. I'd recommend you unpair the device from the mobile bluetooth settings and also from the Fitbit account, then pair it again only in the device you are using to refresh the performance.
Also you check these articles, How do I setup my Fitbit device?, Why can't I setup my Fitbit device? and Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.
Or you can also restart your device.
