I have a new phone and tried to set up not realising it was synced already and fitbit is showing fitbit/ set up, cannot get rid will it reset itself?

I have the same problem. Go through setup and then the tracker displays a single white line and nothing else. Rebooting the tracker and syncing it loads the setup screen on the tracker. I've tried rebooting, adding, and removing the tracker from the app/account multiple times to no avail.

It seems the Microsoft app doesn't see the update or can't manage to update the tracker and the line I was seeing is supposed to be a progress bar. When I tried pairing the app with an Iphone the tracker sees that there is an update and starts downloading it very slowly.
I see other posts on this forum with the same problem and I think there must be a major issue with the apps on various operating systems not recognizing necessary updates for trackers to function properly with the current app versions or that the app versions themselves aren't properly updating to work the tracker software.
