Several issues with my Charge 2

First, I've been trying to sync my fitbit for hours but keep getting the error "Fitbit is down for maintenance". I've cleared the cache and data, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I've unlinked the fitbit from the app and relinked it all with no luck.

Second issue is the battery seems to be draining much faster these days. I just charged it yesterday and it's showing less than half its battery left so I'm charging it again. None of the settings have changed either to warrant it draining faster. I do restart the fitbit each time I charge it as well because I found out it will show a full battery but when I restart the device it will show the battery less then full.

Seems every few months there is a new problem that comes up with it.

I will gladly assist you syncing your Charge 2 and its battery life. 

For the syncing issues start restarting your phone then try using only mobile data and if the issue persist then use wifi only. Additionally you can try refreshing the link between them by going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. Regarding the battery try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can also try these suggestions here.
