Skin problem from wearing Charge 4 Fitbit

I have found what look like burns to both wrists due to my Fitbit Charge4. Has anyone else experienced this…and, if yes, what can be done to prevent it?  I tried using a scrap of tissue between the back of the Fitbit but the readings were no longer accurate. I love the Fitbit but cannot continu to ‘burn’ my skin.
