Sleep not recorded

Hi, any suggestions - the sleep data for Mon-Tues and Tues-Weds nights sleep are missing. I've reset Charge 2, logged out, synced and checked that I am using latest version.  The only coincidence is that I upgraded to latest Fitbit version on Mon and the data is missing for the next 2 nights!!  Any ideas?? Or is the data lost?

Hi @Mickysay thank you for bringing this to my attention, I'd like to give you a warm welcome to our Community Forums and a hand with your Charge 2.

Seems odd that your device is not recording sleep information, thanks for troubleshooting this matter prior posting. For me to better assist you, can you please let me know if you didn't receive Sleep Stages graph but received an auto-sleep log or if you not received sleep information at all? Also, how many nights you experienced this situation? On Wednesday and Thursday your Charge 2 recorded sleep data again?

I'll be looking to your reply. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I am having the same problem. I have reset, restarted, etc. I even tightened by wrist band thinking it might be too loose. But it says it can not record sleep.  I am looking for suggestions too.

IT may be an answer. This time at least when I looked at the fitbit app on my cell phone it told me to log in. I did and last night showed up on the dashboard. I don't know why it logged me out but now I will check the cellphone when sleep is missing.

Hi, thanks for replying.

I don't sync every day but about every 2-4 days. The sleep data was blank, no graph, no time. The steps for the day were logged as usual but nothing for sleep.

Since the two missing nights sleep data, normal service has resumed!

The only thing different over this time is that I updated with the latest Fitbit issue !

Hopefully you have an idea of what I can do?

Thanks

Sorry, I inadvertently pressed 'solved' but it's not

Further to my reply (15 mins ago)  to your message I have also noticed that no heartbeat data was recorded either for those 2 days at all - even though steps have been recorded.

Sorry for the mess-up with the 'solved' - can u 'unsolve' that tick box!?

Hello again! My apologies for the delay in responding, I'm here to continue providing assistance with your Charge 2 devices and the missing sleep logs. Welcome aboard @LindyLunea and thanks for your reply @Mickysay.

@LindyLunea  I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior posting, I'm glad to know that your difficulties were resolved after looking your Fitbit app on your mobile device. Don't hesitate to contact me back if you need further assistance and I'll gladly continue assisting you.

@Mickysay I appreciate all the details that were provided to understand in a better way your concern, I'm happy to know that your sleep concern was resolved. For the missing nights, I suggest you to manually log sleep to reflect the time slept. To do so, please check our help article: How do I change my sleep history?. Nothing to worry about the Accepted Solution thing, I removed this option from your post. Can you please let me know if your device is now recording heart rate data and syncing it to your account? Did you notice any uncommon behavior with the heart rate tracking and sensors of your Charge 2?

Looking forward to your reply.

Sorry for the delay in replying. My heart rate and sleep log has been
recorded ever since the 2 night missing log of data.
Hope this gives u an inkling into why this occurred! I still think the
upgrade is the reason - it was the only thing different.

Nothing to worry about, I'm here to continue providing you with assistance @Mickysay, thanks for your reply.

I'd like to share with you that our Sleep Stages feature use heart rate data to give you detailed sleep graphs, therefore, if your Charge 2 is not properly recording heart rate information the Sleep Stages graphs will not be recorded. That said, please check: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Note that our updates are made for improvements and fixing bugs in the app.

I'll be here if you need anything else, keep me posted.
