Sleep scores

Hi All.

I´m new to this, only received my first fitbit (Charge 3 version) a few days ago.

Just wondering about the sleep scores. The first niight it logged my time  in REM vs light vs deep sleep accompanied by a sleep score. The last 2 nights though it has shown restless vs asleep vs awake. rather unreliably.

Any idea what i did differently that has caused this. I would like it to revert to the REM vs deep sleep scores.

regards

I wish I had an answer for you, I came to the forum today to all this very same question.  The sleep tracking is one of the reasons I bought the Fitbit I did.  I hope someone can help us figure this out

 I think I´ve sussed it.

Try NOT telling either the app or the watch your going to sleep.

When i woke up from a terrible nights sleep i saw it still hadnt logged properly but fell back asleep for 1.5 hours without formally logging a sleep and it recorded the sleep score of that period.

Give it a go tonight and let me know how you get on. I´ll do the same.

It appears that might be correct.  Since I saw this I started just going to bed and not telling my app that I was to sleep.  I have been getting the graph that I was hoping for.

Unfortunately it seems like the whole sleep tracking thing on my fitbit it totally garbage.  For example, I slept from 9 to 5 last night but according to the sleep tracking I was only in bed from 12:30 to 5.

Thank you for figuring out that the app is completely counter intuitive at least in this aspect.
