Sleep tracking

I have a charge 2 which lately inconsistently tracks my sleep. The weekdays are okay, but when we hit Saturday and Sunday it won't always track. I wonder if its because my sleep length is more regular at the week than the weekend?

I recently bought a new phone (iPhone 11, if that's significant) and had to set up my FitBit with my new phone, but the settings in the FitBit app is just the same. When the problem first occurred I tried to set the sleep tracking to sensitive instead of normal, but it didn't fix the problem. Anyone else out there with the same problem and know how to fix this?

Hi @tuttifrui

I’ve had issues with this for sometime also. Since then; I know what I’m about to suggest is a little extra hassle to have to do, But it works much better & keeps an even more accurate Sleep tracking record.

Open your Fitbit App on your iphone as your about to Sleep/Close eyes.

Tap the + sign on Sleep the bar. And you’ll see Start Sleep, Tap that, a little sleep screen with a moon pops up and will stay active in the background.

When you wake - Open iphone and then tap End Sleep. (Sleep will be recoded much better and givIng more accurate results).

Most people wouldn’t be bothered; but I do this - to make sure my Sleep is recorded & data is more accurate 🥴

A little sleep slash-screen with a moon pops up and will stay active in the background.

Next, When you wake - Open iphone, on that same Sleep splash screen tap End Sleep. (Sleep will be recoded better with more accurate results) 😊

Once you do it, you may find. Oh thats not too bad 😉 Happy 💤

Ps. Fitbit need to fix many things in their App. I’m thinking of moving to Apple Watch 6 when it comes out later this year 🤓 Leaks suggest Sleep function is added to this new launch. And possible its version 6 update to the older Watches operating system will allow Apple watch 4 & 5 to have the same feature 👍🏻
