Spinning and FT

Can someone please tell me what the stat FT is, following exercise? Also, when I select spinning as an exercise activity on the app, it automatically reverts to the pre-selected list before it can be synced, with the result I can't track spinning on my device. Hope that makes sense. Thanks.

Not really, where is the FT being seen?

Not sure but are you saying that when you try to add spinning to your tracker, your unable to do this?

Have you tried through the web interface yet? Http://help.fitbit.com/q=multisport

Reviewing the event on the web should give more of an explanstion.. Have you read your user manual yet? Or maybe check the help doc.

No.  What does FT stand for and what do the results mean?  I mostly walk.  The more intense my activity, the more numbers I get.  Is it a fitness score?

what does FT mean?  That's the only symbol that doesn't make sense to me.

@SA_Walk on what screen are you seeing the FT? Is this on the tracker, (note we are on the hardware board), or is this found in the fitbit app?

Maybe a photo or screenshot?

I merged your cross posting.

When I use the FITBIT shortcut for a walk, when you finish you can scroll through several screens for your stats. The very last screen and the last stat is FT. The number is bigger with a longer more active walk. It is not there at all say for the Yoga short cut.

Hi @SA_Walk, welcome! It's great to have a new member around. @Rich_Laue, I appreciate your big help!

@SA_Walk, thanks for joining this thread. I've tried a walk activity on my own, however I wasn't able to get a stat labeled as "FT". As @Rich_Laue mentioned, is it possible for you to take a picture of what is displayed on your Charge 2 and share it with me? For instructions to attach a picture in your reply, please see this post.

I'll look forward to your reply.

Hi Rich_Laue. The FT is on the Charge 2 stats after using the shortcut. It’s not on the Fitbit App. I saw a picture somewhere on the internet. I’ll try and upload a picture I took of my Fitbit after yesterday’s walk.

Hi @SA_Walk and @Rich_Laue, I'm glad to see you here.

@SA_Walk, thanks for getting back and confirming that this start is displayed on the Charge 2 itself. Whenever you have time, attach the picture of your tracker showing the "FT" stat, this way I can continue helping you with this. You can find instructions to attach a picture in your reply here.

I'll look forward to your reply.

Hi @SA_Walk. Hope you're doing well.

Thanks for the pictures provided, they were very helpful. What you're seeing is the elevation tracked during your activity. Depending on the units set in the Fitbit app, this will be displayed as FT (feet) or m (meters). That's why I wasn't able to see the same details, as I chose meters for units. If there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted!

See you around. 😉
