I walked 3 miles this morning and about 5 minutes before ending my walk the step count was around 6,000 steps. I synced my charge 2 to my iphone app and it suddenly said on the watch and iphone app that I had walked 13 miles and 30,000 steps. I've tried plugging in the watch to restart it multiple times and nothing has changed. It has never done anything remotely like this before.

@clkmiec Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your step count. Have you recently changed timezones? Or did you log any activity on your account? If you logged an activity then please delete it. If there were a timezone change then it could be that your steps didn't reset at midnight. This may happen when there is a change in timezone (due to travel or DST changes). You can restart your device as this will help it reset the following midnight but it won’t remove the steps from the affected date.
Let me know how it goes.
