My Charge 2 is showing a step total count for the day that is way in excess of my hourly steps. For example, it alerted me around noon that I had hit 10,000 steps, however by my rough math I should have been closer to 2,000 at that point of the day (my highest hourly total was around 500 steps and a couple were much lower). This is the first day I've had this issue.

A warm welcome to the Community @ShannonNJ! I appreciate the details that you've mentioned.
It's pretty weird that it showed you that you reached your step goal around noon. I would like you to double check your Dashboard information and confirm if your Charge 2 synced the 10,000 steps that it alerted you or maybe it was showing you another main goal.
If you have the 10,000 steps then answer the following questions:
- Did you manually log any activity?
- Did you did any other activity than what you usually do?
- Have you changed your step goal?
Keep me posted.

Hi SilviaFit - no to all 3 questions, nothing had changed and my daily routine was the same as always.

Is there a solution for this? The EXACT same thing is happening to me. Started last week. Never have had a problem with my Fitbit before. Please advise.
