Stop Exercise

There seems to be no way to stop and exercise function. I swiped top to bottom; bottom to top; side to side and nothing showed Finish. Pressing the side button brought up wake screen and notifications, back to the exercise running. Finally after about 3 hours, it returned to the time and steps screen.

How to find the "finish" ????

First, I expect you are using Charge 3, not Charge 2.

When the side button took you to wake screen, I think you held it in too long...Just a quick push and release is enough.  I forget exact sequence then, but I think it prompts you after the first quick push, maybe with options to just pause to actually quit, and then showing results.
