Suddenly stopped syncing

Anyone else having this problem? My Fitbit was syncing just fine a couple of weeks ago. My phone did have an update which I didn’t update right away but it has suddenly stopped syncing up. So I updated my phone thinking that was it but no. Checked that my app was up to date which it was and have contacted customer support only to be ignored and I’m getting super frustrated. It literally worked two weeks ago. I’m now reaching out on Facebook to try to get answers but this is just eye roll worthy. Help!

Put the device on the charger, squeeze both sides to reboot.  It fixes my issues, but I need to it anytime my watch gets wet.

Due to the update. Turns me off getting another fitbit when I can't track anything or receive any notification... A very expensive way to only get the time on display

It's mot a phone issue but a problem with the app program. All worked well previously but subsequent updates resulted in communication issues between phone and device... Bad show

So frustrated with it, I threw it away. Stopped using the Fitbit products
completely. Never to purchase again. I kept having to replace mine, every 3
to 6 months. I was done after doing this for 11/2 years. Very disappointed
with the product.

Thanks, Perry

What device is your app on?

Depending on what is updated, I find permissions get reset.

As for syncing issues with my SG8 I go into Phone Settings / Apps / Fitbit / Force Stop

Then go into Storage / Clear Cache.
