Syncing & clock showing incorrect time.

Syncing has been inconsistent lately & the time doesn't update.  This week wouldn't sync at all so contacted fitbit chat & spoke to Santiago. Went through various routines, uninstalled & reinstalled app, tried to install on my netbook & when nothing worked he left the chat! I emailed him twice as I had already sent him a screen shot - no response. Now my fitbit wont pair with my phone ("your device found" & then "cannot pair try again" - I did 8 times!) at all & cannot use my fitbit as a watch as it is the wrong time. Can someone do something!

By pair with phone @Domin57 what do you mean?

Did you remove the Charge 3 from your Fitbit account? If so you need to set it up as if it is a new device.

Hi Rich_Laue

Thanks for your reply.

I used fitbit online chat & Santiago told me to remove fitbit app from my phone & reinstall. I did this so yes my Charge 3 was removed from my account as advised.  He then got me to reset my Charge 3 - wait for the smiley face & then reinstall.  This didn't work, he then asked me to try installing the app on my computer & then when that didn't work he stopped the chat.  I have tried to set it up as a new device - I connect to the charge cable, it says "we found your tracker", says "connecting" with revolving circle & then shows the message "not working? try these 3 solutions. Tried all 3 & comes back with "try again" every time (at least 10 times). So from having a fitbit that synced occasionally & at least gave me activity data & the time I now have a fitbit that wont connect or sync at all & is 3 hours behind!.

Just to update my chat on this problem. Contacted Fitbit via online chat again & spoke to Jill who looked at my previous chat, history & actions taken to rectify the problem. As my fitbit is still under warranty she has now approved a replacement. So currently writing down my daily steps in the old fashioned way until it arrives!
