I have been reading through many of the comments about syncing fitbit with Samsung. Not to sound conspiratorial but I think the issue is that Samsung has it's own apps and trackers it wants to sell and therefore is not syncing with Fitbit in order to sell its own products. I noticed this after hours of full out frustration. None of Samsung's "health" apps sync with Fitbit. Every other health based app sync, but not fitbit.
Fitbit should just let its customers know what they propose to do about this.

Hello @Pierig, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and comments with us, sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing with your Charge 2 and the Samsung Galaxy A70. Let me share with you that the Samsung Galaxy A700 is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it.
I'm aware that some users are able to use non-compatible devices with our Fitbit products, however, we cannot ensure a proper function of all its features due to this compatibility concern. That being said, even though your mobile device is not compatible, please give it a try to our help article:Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
If by any chance you're still unable to use your Fitbit with your mobile device, I suggest you to try with a compatible device or a computer instead
I'll be here if you need anything else, please keep me posted.
