Syncing

I can't get my old fitbit (which I haven't used for a while because it stopped working properly) to sync. I have tried the help options but nothing seems to work. Am syncing to the app on a chromebook. A message on the top says I haven't synced since April 2017 and has the pink sync icon but with a line through. Any ideas? (why isn't there a nice obvious "click here to sync" button!

I'm not sure of this, but:

I have read Chromebooks are not officially supported by Fitbit.  Some people say it can be done but depends on the particular Chromebook model.  Others mention workarounds to get it going.

So that might be your problem.  If you have any other device to even just give it a try, that might tell you if Chromebook is indeed your issue.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi, thanks for the advice. I'm not entirely sure what I did but it does seem to have at least recognised my fitbit now.
