Go to Fitbit.com and click on the gear icon at the upper right and then Settings.  Scroll down to Time zone and set it correctly.  Then scroll on down and click on Submit and then sync your tracker.

This used to change automatically when you sync in a new time zone. Did Fitbit actually take functionality AWAY??

Update: Thanks for instructions on how to manually change time zone. After a full 24 hours in my new time zone, the Fitbit finally changed it automatically. There must be a technical issue, as time zone should have changed when synched with my phone. ... But, now I know how to do this manually, thanks to post below.

Worked on older models but not on my current Charge 3

Thank you so much. It switched a week ago when I went into a new time zone, but didn’t switch back when I returned 4 days later. I have been manually syncing it with the app for days now. Who knew the website was the trick. Thank you!
