My charge three that I have had for over a year and a half has decided to count way too many floors. This started at the end of February 2020. I’ve researched and done everything that I’ve been told to do. Reboot, Restart, Delete and reload. Nothing works

I've seen this happen - it usually occurs when the barometric pressure is particularly high. Haven't seen anything that can be done to correct it...just funny to see some days that I've done 55 flights of stairs 🙂

I had the same problem, solution was warranty replacement.

Warranty replacement will not solve the problem. What @Gorman24 stated is correct. You can't change that so it will still happen

My problem has started 6 weeks ago. Out of the blue. 250 floors! My activity is about 5-10 floors every day, but my charge 3 shows me from 50 to 200 flors.

I've been noticing this for a while. It is really annoying. Yesterday my husband and I went for a walk. His Charge 2 indicated 7 floors (we did have to walk up an overpass over the railroad tracks) and my Charge 3 indicated 26 floors. Same walk, same environmental conditions.
I don't trust my fitbit to give me accurate information. If it counts floors soooooo incorrectly, what else is it counting incorrectly?

Almost everything. Floors affect your calories consumption, perhaps your VO2MAX, who knows? I suppose my FB overestimates my cal. cons about 500-600 kcal per day = 15% (I am a very active person)
