Tracker not responding after FW update

So my Fitbit stopped working immediately after the last firmware update. I have others that I know the same thing happened to. Is Fitbit sending an update to kill display  to make people buy a new one ? Seems to me Fitbit needs to start replacing Fitbits since it was clearly the last update that caused it

Hi @Charlesw38

Why would a company update a device in order to kill it, only to replace all the devices that died? It doesn't make good business sense. Be sure you're using the latest firmware for your Charge 2 and the latest app for your mobile device. You didn't say which platform you're using. Might be good for us to know a bit more about your issue, too.

It’s the charge hr 2 after I downloaded the last firmware update it immediately quit working.  The update obviously killed because it worked perfectly with no issues before. My guess is this is going to be similar to apple admitting it sent updates for the older phones battery’s to die quickly a few years back. That’s wrong to do that
