Tracking Exercise

Is it better/more accurate to track my exercise as I am doing it while wearing my Charge 2, or is it more accurate for me to just log it manually when I am finished?

It really depends on what you are doing.

 

I ride a stationary bike and i manually log it.

 

Any thing that is step based and use the exercise function on the device.

I normally use the treadmill or the elliptical when I’m at the gym, but Ive noticed that the amount of calories burned on the machines are different than the total amount of calories burned in the app when I’ve used the device to track my workout instead of manually entering in the exercise. Which set of numbers should I be using? The ones from the device or the numbers from the treadmill or elliptical?
