Not to happy with my charge 2. Shaking my wrist shouldn’t count as a step. Starting to think this is a bogus product.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Davis43, hope you're doing great! Is not normal that your Charge 2 is suddenly getting extra steps when you're not stepping if this didn't do this before.

Since your tracker uses an accelerometer to sense when you're moving, it might be interpretation your hand movements as walking. Have you changed your settings information lately, this type of issues are usually result of changing your Sleep Tracking.

You can adjust the sensitivity to have a better reading on your Fitbit.com Dashboard go to Settings > Advance Setting > Sleep Sensitivity > Make sure that it is in normal. Robot wink

I'd recommend checking the How accurate are Fitbit devices? article to get more information about how your Charge 2 tracks your data.

I'll be around, let me know if there's something else I can assist you.

I already did that and it still does it. Needs to be changed somehow.

Have you tried factory reset? I know nobody really wants to do that but it might help solve your issue.. Best of luck!
