My Charge 2 just started doing this a week ago. It does not display anything when you raise it to a read position (checked settings) or when you push the side button. However you can feel the vibration when you press and hold the button as it turn notifications on or off and when you put it in the charger and reset it. It does track and record because I am still getting readings in the app.
