Transitioning from Charge 2 to a Versa 2

Hi there,

I have been using my Charge 2 for 1.6 years now and I was just given a Versa as a gift.  Is is possible to transfer my existing data to my new Fitbit?  I have been hesitant to transition and I can't find anything on the forum.

Yes, that's not problem. All your data is held on the fitbit servers so it's perfectly safe.

Do one last sync of your Charge 2 to make sure you don't lose any unsynced data. Then, on the main screen of the app select "set up a device". Choose the Versa and follow the prompts. This will add the Versa to your account and you can then choose whether to keep the Charge 2 connected (so you can swap between them) or remove the Charge 2 by selecting it from the list of devices and taking the option to delete it.

Thanks! Much easier than I thought! I will get that Versa out of her package.

Bye for now,

Sorry - just reread my post and I missed a step. From the main screen in the app select your profile image at the top left. This then takes you to your profile settings where you'll see the "set up a device"
