Two fitbit charge3 neither receiving alerts

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My wife has a charge4 and I have a charge3. Neither is receiving any alerts now (text messages; inactivity alerts; incoming phone calls). Latest firmware installed. Has been like this for a month at least. Searched forums but can't find anything relevant. Too many posts seem to refer to menu items that I don't have. Both running IOS (13.6.1 for charge3 and 12.? For the charge4). Please help.

@tonmilx @Seashell5775 Welcome to the Community.

Let me help you with this. Make sure that your tracker's aren't in the Do not Disturb or Sleep modes by long pressing its button. You can also refresh the link between your trackers and your phone by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the email. I have worked through the procedure as documented including the troubleshooting sections. This has made no difference at all. The only notifications I want are INCOMING PHONE CALLS; TEXT MESSAGES; INACTIVITY ALERT. I don't know how to check if these are enabled. Can you tell me please.
