Unlock phone using Charge 3

Hello 

I have a problem with my fitbit charge 3 SE, and smart lock feature of my phone (Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, MIUI 12 based on Android 9). I click on "unlock by Bluetooth device", enter my passcode, then I choose my paired fitbit and the phone tells me to "confirm on the band" to continue, but I don't know where to confirm because it's not showing anything special on the band.

Your Charge 3 doesn't have the ability to do what you're asking for. That's why you don't get anything special on the band. Were you able to unlock your phone without the band?

Of course I can unlock my phone without the band - by PIN/Pattern/Fingerprint but I want to unlock it without using mentioned options, automaticly when the phone is close to band. For example it works in Xiaomi Mi Band. 

If you say that Charge 3 doesn't have the ability to unlock then why this is the only device that I can choose from my bluetooth device list in the options?

Your Charge 3 doesn't have the requested option, I don't know why is only device you can choose from your Bluetooth list.

All right, but will this be accessible someday by system update? Or this device is EOL and there will be no updates?
