All day 20.03.20 and now into 21.03.20 UK I have not been able to open the Fitbit app. It automatically says upgrading database. This is ridiculous, all I want to do is access to my Fitbit. What is going on?

There was a known bug in early March that was introduced with the android app version 3.15 that displays the message "upgrading database". The way round this was to force close the app: Settings - Apps - Fitbit - Force Stop.
