I have a fitbit and now my app says I have to go to the app store and purchase the app. I was going to purchase another fitbit but I will not waste my money.

I don't understand. What app says you have to go to the app store?
What app store - are you talking Android, IOS, Windows 10 app?

Have you been using the app?
Have you tried just uninstalling it and downloading it again?
There is no purchasing the Fitbit app. I don't know if Apple just uses the term "purchase" for anything from their app store.

There’s another thread on this. It’s a problem with the latest IOS update. I had the problem with my iPhone, solved with deleting/reinstalling. Now have the same problem on my iPad
