my fitbit is tracking my walk as a run even tho im tracking it as a walk on my phone

This is currently a known problem.  Some say it will record as a walk if you record the walk directly on your tracker rather than from your phone.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

The subject of this thread is incorrect, this problem has nothing to do with your Chatge 2..

It is when the user uses their Fitbit app on their Android phone to record the walk. 

The main thread may be found on the Android Board. 

Android app incorrectly recording walks as runs

 

Using the Charge 2 to record your walk will have the event properly titled.
