Watch not syncing swim

Had my watch for a year and has been plagued by bugs. Always something not syncing. Latest one not registering swim. Any ideas to fix would be gratefully received.

Which mode did you use to record the swim?

It’s set to record over 10 mins but it’s not syncing to iPhone app

I'll assume you are not manually starting the swim recording but letting Fitbit decide. Are you doing strokes that are detectable?

Fitbit used to automatically pick it up but hasn’t done for the last week. Was intermittent week before. Should be recording half a mile breast stroke every day
