So the charge 3 is slowly becoming my least favorite item. At the beginning of the day the weather app updates. After that initial sync the weather app will not update again all day. Since weather changes throughout the day, this makes the app useless. I have tried everything and nothing works making this issue very annoying. If I need to check my phone every time than why have the watch? My iPhone will track steps.
Something else is the heart rate monitor is awful too. I was running and the watch has my heart rate at 105 when I know for a fact it was closer to 140.
I’m really starting to hate Fitbit. Convince me to remain a customer by fixing these issues.

If the weather doesn't update, check the following settings:
If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app.
Regarding the accuracy of the heart rate, please follow the troubleshooting steps provided here: What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

I’ve tried all of that before posting my original gripe. When you say the Fitbit app must be running in the background are you referring to background app refresh or actually leaving the app open all day? I already have background app refresh on and it doesn’t help.
