What should I do with old Fitbits?

I have upgraded my Fitbit on 2 occasions previously and don’t know if there’s anything I can do with the old devices... they’re just sitting in a cupboard gathering dust as I don’t want them ending up on landfill. 
does anybody know if there is a trade-in service available?

I don't know of any trade-in.  Have any friends or relatives who would like to try one?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
