Where is the sync button? I have a Charge 2

Time is off by about 10 minutes. I don’t see a way to sync it. There’s no button that says sync. Where might I find that button? Thank you.

This form won’t let me type in charge2. It made me pick a product that is not what I have. I have a charge2 it is an older model.

On phone app, simplest way is just pull down and release on main screen; alternatively, tap profile pic, then your tracker, then 'Sync Now'.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I deleted the app, because my battery was getting drained in like a day. And I asked Google why that was happening, and found out that it was the app that was doing that.

So I was hoping that the fitbit.com dashboard would help me.

If I have to install the app again, I guess I will. But let’s see if somebody else has an answer for doing this in the website dashboard online.

I guess I could just install the app, do the sync, and then delete the app. Thanks for the suggestion. 🙂 I’ll try that.

"my battery was getting drained"

which battery?  phone?  Fitbit?

Just for future reference, when people ask about an interface without being specific, I generally just assume phone app, rather than going through all the extra steps of asking if they mean on the fitbit device, on the phone app, on the fitbit.com dashboard, on the Windows 10 app, or who knows where else.  It helps us to be precise.

Thank you. Being specific *is* necessary. Sorry I wasn’t.

I was talking about the Fitbit app on iPhone.

I just reinstalled it, and went through the process of setting up my Charge 2. And easily found the sync button and clicked on it.

I’m all set now. Thank you.

So, do you know anything about why my Charge 2 might have been losing power so quickly? Do I need to give more specifics about the app I’m using?

So the Charge 2 was losing power quickly and Google told you it was because of the phone app?

After deleting the phone app, did the Charge 2 keep power longer?

Yes. Removing the app fixed the problem.

This was a while ago, so my recollection is a bit foggy. But I believe where Google directed me was to a forum on Fitbit.com where I found the answer.

@Tah20   I want to add that the Charge 2 is an older tracker, as fitness trackers go.  The type of battery in a Fitbit has a lifespan of 3 - 5 years.  If you keep having battery problems, you might be at the end of your battery life.
