Just bought a brand new charge 3. It gets me through set up and then displays a white horizontal line instead of a clock face. I tried reset, no luck. No updates found. Tried to change clockface, unable to change due to needing an update I can't find. Very frustrated.

That happened to me. I charged my new fitbit using my computer usb port, and I got the white line. So I uninstalled the fitbit app on my phone and reinstalled the latest version. I deleted the problem fitbit device from my phone. Then I plugged the fitbit into a wall charger and re initiated it by holding down the side-button for over eight seconds. Then I charged it to full capacity. Finally, I reinstalled the device on my phone. Everything works fine now.
