Hey @Bubblinbrown and @tbyfb, I have heard of this problem with other fitbits but not charge 2. Odd. Have you guys tried restarting your charge 2 by connecting it to its charger and holding the button located on the side and seeing if the fitbit logo appears on your screen? If not, try that and see if that works.
Let me know how it goes guys!👍

Note: Hold the button until the logo appears on the screen, usually about 10-12 seconds. If the logo ever appears that means it has restarted. Once the fitbit logo disappears, try turning your charge 2 on by holding the button until turns back on and usually greets you or says something.

Hmm. Weird. I will do some more research on that then. Feel free to do the same or contact a fitbit moderator.

How do you restart by pushing those buttons if it’s in the charging unit?

By holding the button located on the side of the fitbit charge 2 until the fitbit logo pops up. When connected to charger. ( Usually 10-12 seconds). But that did not work for @tbyfb unfortunately. But that's how it works with the fitbit charge 2 when it isn't acting up. Hopefully @tbyfb, @Bubblinbrown and others who have this problem get help with this from a fitbit moderator or anyone.

In other words, the button located on the side is the only button that has the ability to respond to the fitbit and changes anything when connected to charger.
