constants syncing issues with my charge HR

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

almost everyday my device takes forever to sync to my phone and there are times it don't sync at all as of today thought it wont sync at all to my phone and I have tried everything from deleting the app entirely and reset the device nothing works. I finally had to remove the device from my account all together then fight to get it to pair back up and I have been working on this for about an hour now

I've also been having sync issues with my Charge HR since 28th August 2019.  Had to do a factory reset in the end yesterday and then managed to get it to sync, but now it's stopped syncing again today.

Yep - me too. It's like the device has failed. Mine last synced on the 5th, although I hardly bother using it any more for this reason. The app no longer even finds the device, even though I have rebooted the device NUMEROUS times, and even reinstalled the latest app. If I don't get the "device not found" message, or words to this effect, the sync runs for 3-4 minutes without updating any of the data. I fear it may need to be consigned to the rubbish bin. It's last chance is to hunt out the Fitbit dongle/Bluetooth receiver and try to sync it to my PC - which I have never had to do in the past.

Ok. So I've done a bit of digging. In my case it is possible that, out of the 3 phones that are not supported, I have one of them: a Huawei P8 Lite. Lucky old me - "Bluetooth issues...". Might I say that the phone worked ok up until recently. Never mind, I'll give up on that one.

Better news is that I have installed the Fitbit app (available from the Microsoft Store) on my Win 10 PC and after inserting the Bluetooth dongle I am able to sync my devise to it, with a few frustrations. For instance when displaying my sleep graph I cannot see the time periods for the different sleep states, and I cannot rearrange the individual icons on my dashboard. UPDATE: If I go into the app settings I see a heading 'Live Tiles' and in here I can pin icons to my start screen, except it doesn't seem to do what I would have expected it to. It seems to mimic the screen that I see on my (unsupported) phone.

I see now that if you click on the pen icon at the top right of the main screen/dashboard it displays all the options e.g. sleep, calories, floors etc. To hide the unwanted data on you home screen de-select the item so a red + sign appears on the icon then click the pen icon again which takes you to your home screen, minus the unwanted data. Presto! (The black x shows which ones you want to appear).
