Based on posts I read when my FitBit died, it's best not to overcharge a lithium-ion battery. The Charge HR I have now I am charging about 30-45 minutes when the charge runs down (about three days). One recommendation I read was 15 minutes a day.

I did also find if the battery gets really low (also not good) you may not even see the charging indicator, and it can take hours before a FitBit shows any signs of life. But sometimes it will resurrect itself.

Welcome to the forums!

How are you charging it? Best on the computer in a USB port

Do a Restart

Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

If it doers not help take it back and exchange it or contact support by using the help- link at the top of the forum

Yes, i charge my fitbit into my computer.

However, just today, my fitbit lasted throughout the entire day!

Is it necessary to still charge it every night?
