I bought a Fitbit Charge 2 days back. I am not able to setup the Charge 2, when i try to login to my Andriod app it says "fitbit.com is down for maintenance."
When i try to configure the device using my laptop (Win 10) i am getting "Fitbit.com is unavailable. Try again later." error in the Fitbit Windows 10 app.
Laptop: Sony vaio OS Win10
Mobile: One Plus 3 Android Marshmellow
Can you please help me on this issue?
Fitbit Support team is not responding properly to this issue. Support team is asking me to wait and try again later rather than giving me some solution. Getting irritated. It's been 2 days since i have received this device from Amazon.

@ManjunathanUday, I have not had any problems connecting to fitbit.com on either my laptop or my Android phone. I wonder if this a local network problem?

Hi - I had this problem on my Charge2 on Android. I tried just about everything to fix it - logged on and off, reinstalled with and without antivirus software, ran a cache cleaner etc. I could log on to fitbit.com on my laptop so I knew it wasn't down for maintenance. In the end, I used Force Quit via Apps on my mobile and cleared both the cache and data and this resolved the problem. I suspect that the data and/or cache had become corrupt at some stage and this caused the problem - uninstalling and reinstalling does not clear this data.

Thanks for that update, @CM57! You are correct that uninstalling the app does not clear the data that is stored on the phone. Using the phone's Settings for Apps to clear Cache and Data will get rid of it without uninstalling & reinstalling the app. Thanks for the reminder!

I am having the same problem. My fitbit stopped syncing in May and I have not received any advice on how to repair and it is August
