I bought a fitbit flex, it just stopped working after about 3 months. Now I have a fitbit charge HR. I already have an account and I am logged in, the tracker is connected to my computer by the cord and bluetooth is on. There is no option to change or add a new device. Fitbit setup page -404 error, page does not exist? how am I to set up my device? have win 8.1

Hi @1Danitoo are you only syncing via the computer? Click for set up directions, including the link to the Fitbit Connect software you'll need. You'll need a dongle as Windows 8.1 requires it. You're not connected to the computer with the charger unit, you're just using the computer to charge. You actually need the dongle to act as the bridge from your Fitbit to the computer, which then uploads the data to the Fitbit servers. I can get to the page without the 404 error. Might be you could try using a different browser to get to the page? The Charge HR is a bit older device, with the Charge 4 being recently released. In a pinch, you can do a search to find the Fitbit Connect software for your Win 8.1 as it's out there. I found a few places where you can download it. Just be careful on any place you're not familiar with.

If on Win 10 are you using the Fitbit app to setup the tracker?
If on an older pc you will need Fitbit connect
