how to start over?

I've been on Fitbit four-plus years, now have a Charge 3.  I've earned all the available badges for distance and climbing.  Now I want to wipe out my history on Distance, Steps, Weight, Floors, etc. so I can begin again. How do I delete current history from the Fitbit Dashboard so I can start over?

2 possible options:

1) Traditionally the easiest.  Just create a new fitbit account with a new fitbit ID/email.  Then your old data will still be available by logging into other account if ever want to check it.  Just make sure you keep track of which account you are in with which email and password; often see users  thinking all their data has been lost, then discover they were logged into wrong account.

2) Recent new option: On phone app, Profile Pic (top left) > Manage Data > Delete Data.  I assume this works straightforward but have not actually tried using it.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

thanks, very helpful.  No cell phone, so #1 it will have to be.
