I have had my Charge 2 and used it with my old iPhone 6S and it would alert me to text messages, calls, etc. I got the new iPhone XR and I have read every message about how to disconnect from the old phone and reboot it, etc. and done everything I could and my new phone still won't discover it in Bluetooth. I finally saw a link to Charge 2 compatible devices and the newest model listed was the iPhone X which was last year's model. None of the new models from this year (XS, XS Max, and now the XR) were listed. Has anyone been able to get the XR to like via Bluetooth to give the alerts? I have no problem syncing to the fitbit app itself on the XR as that works fine, its just trying to get the text message and phone call alerts that doesn't work with the new phone. Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

And now its not again. I am no longer receiving text messages notifications on my Fitbit. It is is very frustrating that I keep having issues. Any idea how to fix the issue? I have checked all of my setting on my phone and Fitbit; Bluetooth, sync, etc. All of my setting are correct. GRRRR.

Try the steps in my post above, from 12/31/18 at 12:24 pm. They worked for me after all else failed

Did you try turning the Bluetooth off and on? I have to do that at least once a week. If that doesn’t work, I’d try contacting Fitbit support. I found them to be very helpful

My Charge 2 not receiving phone calls or text from iPhone XR. In compatible device list iPhone XR not there but all previous and even new models after XR is there. Why it is so?

Is there any update on when the iPhone XR will be added to the compatible phones list. I’ve just got my new phone and I’m missing being able to receive notifications on my Fitbit charge 2 already. Tried all of the fixes but no joy 😟

Did you try doing an online chat with Fitbit? They were very helpful and resolved the issue for me

I’m having the same issue with my Versa, forever having to try and reconnect it.! Diving me nuts constantly trying to reconnect and sync it . Today I turned device off and back on.... didn’t work, Bluetooth off and on .. no luck , “forgot device and added...still no luck .. finally I uninstalled the fit bit app and reinstalled it ... IT WORKED ... but how long it will actually stay connected this time is anyone’s guess 🤪

It’s been 2 yrs since this post and my Charge 2 still won’t connect to the XR via Bluetooth. Any updates would be greatly received. Thanks
