loosing charge

I have had my Fitbit 2 for 3 or 4 years, love it. Today it seemed to loose its charge quickly - I charged it - using my computer USB - it showed it was charged - 100%. Put it on and 5 minutes later the screen was blank - hooked it to the charger again and it says empty. I did that twice. Then I tried a reset, same thing happened. Does this mean my fitbit has gone to fitbit heaven?
