my charge 3 is connected to my Windows 10 laptop.  I am now the proud owner of my first smartphone (yes, I know, its only taken 60 years).  Can I link my charge 3 to this as well or should I restrict myself to one or the other?

Hi @ianmcmullen and welcome to the Forums! And congratulations on acquiring your first smartphone. Hey, even us “old dogs” can learn new tricks! To answer your question, it’s possible to sync to and login to your Fitbit account from multiple devices but I have long ago discovered that it’s best to keep things simple. Therefore I suggest you set up the Fitbit app on your new phone and use that as your main syncing device. Which smart phone did you get?
